Turkey hunting issues.?
First time hunting since I was a child. The first time you go for the turkey. Season is open! I found the I think it is near a roosting place. A lot of turkey tracks. Have a couple of questions: How do I approach the area without giving away? Are the turkeys very sensitive to smells? Should I block the smell of all this? I'm working at night, so leave at 5am is out, so it's late for me. Sunset is 7:45. When do they sleep? What time is best for a night game? Thanks in advance.
Well, I do not know the others, but after 12 years Hunting them here in Wisconsin this is what I do … is that you can not hunt in the morning, I'll give my planning night … First, I call it "putting to sleep "… Find where they feed and find the high ground around that area that probably roost.
