Coffeecake

Cake:

  • 11⁄2 Cup Sugar
  • 1⁄2 lb Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1Cup Sour Cream
  • 2 Cup Flour
  • 1tsp Baking Powder
  • 1⁄2 tsp Soda
  • Pinch Salt

Topping:

  • 1 Cup pecans
  • 5tsp sugar
  • 11⁄2 tsp cinnamon

Cream together Sugar, butter and vanilla.  Add eggs and sour cream.  Mix in flour, baking powder, soda, and salt.  Place 1⁄2 the batter in round cake pan Add 1⁄2 the topping.  Repeat. Bake 350 45-50 min.  Glaze with Carmel sauce and Powder sugar and water mixture.
